Strobe of hope

Based on political and miltary, on 80's-90's sri lanka civil war, highly well implimented MADRAS CAFE which diction to execute facts, fiction and reality all together is dignified.

Shoojit sircar direction and production is commendable and his smartness which brings an enormous amount in just 130 minutes is deserves a salute.

Sri lankan-tamil civil war, balanced meetings of political leaders, all dramatical parts, the negative faces shows the norms of society we live in.
Eventualy, helps to view the problem in the proper perspective.

With avoiding extra stuff the film is straightly inoculate for based on plot. Tamil rebels who going through with revenge, ex prime minister's death has come in lieu of human bombs in history.

John abraham as Major Vikram Singh (Indian army officer appointed by the Research and Analysis Wing to carry out operations in Jaffna). Perfectly get on his role, And withount trying on him to being a james bond, and an agent like EK THA TIGER, Shoojit sircar simply show us a common man as major and trying his best to give output instead of doing any heroic performance.

Nargis fakhri (jaya) london based correspo in war with her english in whole film is not give u a chance to find out any mistakes. Those who thinks nargis is not going to give her best, shoojit sircar even make this possible too.

Debutante Rashi khanna (vikram's wife) who is also in lead.., her character which shows concern, nuisance, trust is nothing but seems like we are face to face reality.

Cinematography, Photography are adorable. Stuff like hollywood.

Although shots of sri lanka has been not taken in real location, its an authentic gifted part by production depatment.

The other characters that complete the canvas – sundry secret agents, soldiers, militants and bureaucrats – are all identifiable figures who look and sound like real people.

Papon's "maula sunle re" is a song in end a call to god which makes u emotional and compulse you to give an ovation.

A movie which is highly recommended, and like after watch... u want like hell that everyone must watch same as u did. Going with 4 of 5.

My review for Once upon a time in mumbai dobara !!

Milan lutharia's once upon a time in mumbai was a surprise blockbuster with rajat arora's  precarious dialogues nd wantongly performance by lead actors which was pack up with many more expectations and hope that it will definately come again to shattering us.

And its second instalment is here with big starcast. ONCE UPON Ay TIME IN MUMBAI DOBARA is placed on laziest story, tired scripting and on "may be a hit" dialogues. There is bit surprises which makes smile on your face.

Starting with some siege squence which is a proper closed box of a climax nd opened at d end with such a filthy one.

No dashing entries, not even feel of villian's status and attempt to get applause on every dialogues is flopd.

Dialogue like " Dafan toh sabne hona hai ek din ... jeete ji dab gaya toh jeena mitti hai" and " Hero kya hota hai? ... pyar ke liye ladne waala, dosti ke liye marne waala ... kismat se fakeer par himmat se bhara hua ... sharif aadmi" are some of them which persuade the scene, rest are just worst than the stinking ass.

Shoaib (akshay kumar) who is matured and well suited don totaly eligible for but coz of tired scripting it makes him worst as we never expect. Movie is not on smuggling, not even on some twists and turns but on love triangle.

Shoaib (Akshay kumar) and his adopted mob cum brother aslam (Imran khan) both fell in love with jasmine (sonakshi sinha) and movie which is begin with crap turn into a stupid love triangle and sink into a river of applesauce plot.

Except bearable music, songs i cant comfortably that movie stands on average either.

Going with 2 of 5 and in advising mood saying dont waste your precious 150 minutes. Choice is yours, varna "Ek baar fir bekar picture jhelne ke liye tayar ho jao"

My review for D-Day

Nikhil advani the man who debut with "kal ho na ho" and direct movies like patiala house, chandni chowk, now his latest haul up "D-Day" is made his image not different but also he gave us an accolade cinema.

movie which is fictional but its execution at that level, if we cmpare this with real event based film, we must applause the mind who make this possible to believe in fictional now at some part instead of real based.

movie which is simply reveal that story is about to nail 'red-pink colour shades image' Dawood ibrahim by RAW for country's defence, is we watching since by so far but D-day has a different feel, mixture of drama, emotions, romance which we could wish to be, what also actualy is in film a lurid climax.

With onerous star cast like irrfan, arjun rampal, rishi kapoor, huma qureshi helps to reach up movie at another level.

Irrfan's acting as we know how much dangerous to snatch all the awards, this time his performance forced me to tell about his in detail. Acting with eyes, lost properly into his character, emotional, with only one motive, is nothing but made our roots of cinema so strong.., if someone ask us to name some great actors he's on top at merrit list.

Arjun rampal who fell in love with whore (shruti hassan) make story half-note which sinks into romance, love. shruti hassan also done splendid with her given part. Rampal constantly proving that he is well deserved, and many more performance has to come.

Huma qureshi is rising star who enter only with one agenda i.e. acting.
Rishi kapoor as dawood give a legendary performance. He was ruled at their time and going to rule this time also, strident !!

shankar ehsan loy's music, voice over rekha bharadwaj is like cherry on the cake.

"D-Day" is a well-researched, purposefully executed film. Much of the action takes places in 'actual' Karachi locations - the red light district of Napier Road, the busy thoroughfare of Empress Market and the environs of Qasim Port, among others.

D-Day is a film which is place on the 1st rack of library of our indian cinema, if it would be possible.
